Sharpen your scissors, girls. “Project Runway” is back.

On Wednesday night, Bravo’s fashion phenom returns for its fourth season. Fifteen contestants will vie for the title of America’s next great designer as they attempt to charm the judges, stitch the hemlines, and dodge the fast-slinging barbs. Auf!

The long break before the series’ return hasn’t dampened its buzz. Lookups for “project runway” and “project runway season 4” are strutting through Search. Bravo can thank the fashionistas for the online action: Nearly 80% of the show’s queries come from females.

Eager fans also boosted buzz on Seasons 2 and 3 this week. However, when it comes to the winners and wackos of Runway’s past, the show’s second season takes the audience award. The only past contestants to continue to draw buzz are from year 2. Santino Rice, Chloe Dao, and Daniel Vosovic popped in Search this week. That means Kara Saun, Wendy Pepper, Jay McCarroll, Uli Herzner, Michael Knight, and Jeffrey Sebelia failed the Buzz challenge. Sorry guys, you’re out.

As for the grownups on the other side of the catwalk, Heidi Klum remains a Search magnet and buzz is besotted with Tim Gunn. Queries for the sartorial sage surged nearly 900% over the past week. No matter what happens, we can all rest easy knowing Tim Gunn will make it work. Welcome back, Runway!
