Horror Icons Scare Up Searches

As Halloween creeps closer, there’s been a shocking surge of searches on horror movie icons. Freddy Krueger, the sweatered star of the “Elm Street” flicks, is gruesomely popular. Jason from “Friday the 13th” is posting gratuitous and unnecessary gains. Even Chucky from “Child’s Play” is having a bloody good time in the Buzz.
Still, interest in those baddies can’t compare to the legions of searches on Michael Myers. The creepy, grunting killer from Halloween and its 97 sequels has inspired some truly disturbing searches. “Michael myers mask,” “michael myers story,” and “michael myers quotes” are all slicing their way through Search. We find the last search particularly freaky considering the lurking maniac doesn’t actually speak.
Here’s how the villains line up in Search. We only regret that Leprechaun didn’t make the cut.
